Hi everyone,
I have never done this, but I was wondering if anybody else has. I dont have anyone that could be there to crucify me, but I really want to do it. Is it possible? Has anyone ever tried it? If so how did you do it? Or is this not safe to do and shouldn't even try it??

Did You Ever Have Had A ... Say ... "special" Dream?
I did!
Very often.
Here is one, I had when I was around 14: I dreamed that all girls in my class did where woodn shoes, kinda sandals - soles made of wood, about 3 centimeters thick.
If some girl made a very big mistake during classes, they took nails and nailed her naked feet (no girl whore socks!) on those special sandals.
The rest of the year this girl had to walk whit nailed feet.
I had a lot of those dreams. Did you ever had dreams like that? Please post here. I´m curious about them.

Stabant Matres Five Minutes After
When I opened my eyes I saw three white ghosts.
I had tears, I must eye blink.
The beats in my hands, the bashes in my feet did my eyes close and my mouth open.
I could not breath.
I could not determine how to lay on the prickly wood.
The cross was raised.
Five minutes were gone.
My knees bend with tremble pain.
My white flesh colored red.
I found my equilibration and hung.

Sleeping In The Cross
After the flogging, after carrying the heavy cross, after being beaten and scourging, maybe the condemned were so tired that after being nailed to the cross, after an hour hanging maybe them felt sleep?
Or in the night? some crucified took days to die, so maybe in the night some sleeping could be possible in ancient real executions for crucifixion?

Reducing The Pain Of Nails While Time Passes On
I was wondering, in ancient real crucifixions, the pain would be excruciating in both hand and feet for the nails. But the body is wise, when some intense pain is caused, withing minutes or hours the skin and nerves stop a little the painful sensation, maybe a crucified for 5 or more hours feel his hands and feet with no pain at all or no sensation at all? also if he is tied, maybe the circulation is stopped at some point and the nerves could not transmit the pain sansation anymore?

When to strip??
Just a quick reflection that isnÂ’t particularly interesting, but one that I reckon adds some spice to the crucifixion scenario.
As I read most of your comments you all seem to agree on the following; the victim, male or female, is first stripped completely and scourged, then they carry the cross or platibulum naked through the crowded streets to their execution. This is most likely what the procedure was in roman times.

Ave,
around easter time there came this another new "Jesus" TV-movie out beside the more "famous" new "Anno Domini"-series. It was called "Killing Jesus" starring Arab actor Haaz Sleiman as Jesus portraying him more as a hardened Jewish rebellous preacher and not as a pacifcist hippie philosopher.
I got my hands on an uncut version (due to the violence it was censored on TV in many countries) and can telly you now a bit more about it.
It got lots of bashing from right-wing and conservative...
